Enjoy the snow before the 80 degree winter days come

We finally headed up to some real altitude and found lotsa snow in Wrightwood. We had a whole mountain to ourselves, (so it seemed) and we got our snow fill for the season. Elie got to ride the disk all by herself, and we all ended up with snow down our pants.

A Day in Julian

In an attempt to find some snow without driving too far, we ended up in Julian, home of fresh baked apple pies and finely sliced veggies. Though it had snowed the previous week, there was no snow today, save some piles of slush in some back parking lots. We had to strip down our layers cause it was so warm that day! Elie and Gabe enjoyed the pie and ice cream.
